Why these three and not a longer list

A gaming desk usually has the same three problems. The room light is behind you, so it bounces off the screen. The wall behind the monitor is a black hole once the lights go off. And the cables sit in a heap on the floor where the chair rolls over them. A light bar clips onto the screen and throws light down at the desk instead of back at your eyes, the strip fills the wall behind with colour, and the tray clamps under the desk and takes the lot. Anything past that is taste, so it is not in here.

Common Questions

Which monitor size do I choose? The strip is cut to suit the screen, so pick 24, 27, 32 or 34 inch to match your monitor. The light bar and the tray are the same whichever size you take.

Do I need to drill anything? No. The light bar rests on top of the screen, the strip sticks on behind it, and the tray clamps to the underside of the desk. Nothing needs a screw, which matters in a rented room.

Can I buy just one of them? Yes, all three are sold separately, and the 10% only applies when you take the set. If you only need the cables tidied, start with the cable tray on its own.

What else goes on a gaming desk? A monitor stand or arm lifts the screen to the right height, which the light bar and strip do not do.
