The pieces that finish a room off. Room essentials is where we keep aromatherapy diffusers, salt lamps, clocks, mirrors, faux plants and photo displays. Small things, but they're the difference between a room you sleep in and a room that feels like yours.
Everything here is chosen to work with the rest of your setup rather than fight it, so it sits fine whether your thing is warm and cosy or clean and minimal.
If you are starting with the walls, the felt pin board sticks up with tape and peels off cleanly, and the photo clip fairy lights do the same job with a bit of glow behind it.

Common Questions
Can I put any of this up without drilling?
Most of it. The felt pin board goes straight on with the acrylic tape already on the back and comes off without residue. The mirror neon signs include sticky hooks alongside the chain and screws. Clocks need a single nail or hook, which is about as small a hole as walls get.
Do the clocks need batteries?
Yes, one standard battery each, and you put it in yourself. Worth having one in the drawer so the clock is running the day it lands rather than a week later.
Will the pin board stick to my wall?
Smooth painted walls, doors and wardrobes are perfect, and that covers most rooms. Textured wallpaper and bare brick do not give the tape enough to grip, so pick a smooth spot instead, or go for the magnetic board, which stands on a desk and needs no wall at all. To take the pin board down, peel slowly and pull the tape back along itself rather than straight out.
What size clock for my wall?
The 39cm wall clock is made for a big empty wall, a chimney breast or a kitchen, and it will dominate a small room. Over a desk or in a bedroom the wooden silent clock is the gentler one, and it does not tick, which you notice at two in the morning.
What else makes a room feel finished?
Something on the wall that glows. A sign from LED Neon Signs or a lamp from Lamps does more to a room in an evening than any amount of rearranging furniture. Clocks, boards and vases handle the daytime version of the same job.
