What handmade glass does to the light

Stained glass does not just tint the light, it scatters it, so the colour washes onto the wall and the table rather than sitting in a hard circle. That is why this reads as an atmosphere lamp rather than a lamp that happens to be coloured. Slight surface marks on the glass are normal for handmade glassware and disappear entirely once it is lit.

Common Questions

Is it bright enough to read by? Not really, and it is not trying to be. At 60 to 249 lm through coloured glass it is a mood lamp, and a lovely one, perfect for evenings and lighting a corner. If you want something to read under, pair it with the Nordic LED desk lamp and let each do its job.

Does it come with a bulb? Yes, the E27 12W two colour bulb is included, so it works out of the box.

How do the three colours work? A knob switch on the lamp cycles warm, neutral and cool. No app, no remote.

Are the marks on the glass a fault? No. Handmade stained glass carries small surface variations and each shade is slightly different.

Is there a matching one? The rest of Lamps has options in the same soft, warm direction.

A bit braver than the beige lamp you were probably about to buy.
