Couldn't load pickup availability
A large wall clock at 39cm across, built in the cream style that has taken over UK living rooms: soft colours, rounded shapes and nothing shouting. The face is acrylic on a 30mm thick plate, the movement is mute quartz, and you can choose a plain version or one with a pendulum swinging underneath.
What you get
- 39cm diameter, 30mm thick plate, around 1.3kg
- Acrylic and PVC body with hands rather than a digital display
- Mute quartz movement
- Six choices: green, white or red, each with or without the swing pendulum
- Runs on a battery, not included
What the pendulum clock version actually changes
The swing versions hang a pendulum below the dial that moves constantly while the clock runs. It is the difference between a clock you read and a clock you notice, and in a big empty stretch of wall the movement is what stops it looking like a dinner plate stuck up there. The trade off is height: the pendulum adds a fair bit below the 39cm dial, so measure the drop as well as the width. If your wall is short on space, the plain version is the safer pick.
Common Questions
Does it tick? It should be quiet enough for a living room or bedroom. If silence is the whole reason you are buying, the wooden silent wall clock states a sweeping movement outright.
Does a battery come with it? No. You will need to supply your own.
Is 39cm big? Yes, noticeably. It suits a living room chimney breast or a kitchen wall. Over a desk or in a small hallway it will dominate.
Is the cream colour the same as the photos? Close, but screens vary. Cream and green in particular can read warmer in daylight than they do on a monitor.
Delivery and returns
Free delivery, no minimum spend, usually 7 to 14 working days after dispatch. Free 30 day returns and we pay the return postage, so if the colour is not right on your wall it costs you nothing to send back.
