A wireless charger earns its place on a bedside table or a desk by turning three cables into none. These are mostly magnetic stands, so the phone snaps into position rather than being lined up by hand, and several charge a watch and earbuds at the same time.
The first choice is how many things you are charging. A single magnetic pad is enough if the watch lives on your wrist overnight. A 3 in 1 stand holds a phone upright, a watch on its own puck and earbuds flat, which means one plug behind the bedside table instead of three. A few fold flat for a bag.
The second is speed. Qi2 is the newer standard and it charges a recent iPhone at up to 15W, which is roughly twice what an older 7.5W pad manages. Anything older than an iPhone 12 has no magnets in it, so a magnetic stand will still charge it but you will be resting it on the pad rather than snapping it on.
More desk and room tech is in Gadgets & Tech, and the cables these replace are dealt with in Desk Essentials.

Common Questions
Does it come with a plug?
A cable, yes. A mains plug, no, on almost everything here. Use a phone charger plug you already own, and if you have a 20W or higher USB-C one, use that instead of the oldest plug in the drawer, because a weak plug is the usual reason a 3 in 1 stand charges slowly.
What is Qi2 and do I need it?
Qi2 is the standard that brought magnets and 15W charging to phones other than iPhones. On a recent iPhone it is roughly twice the speed of an older pad. If you charge overnight it makes very little difference, and if you charge in twenty minute bursts before you go out it makes a lot.
Will it charge through a case?
Through most of them. A thick case, a metal plate for a car mount or a pop socket in the way will weaken the magnets or stop the charge, and that is worth knowing before you order rather than after. A MagSafe compatible case is the one that holds strongest, and a plain silicone or plastic case is usually fine.
Can I use it for a watch and earbuds too?
The 3 in 1 stands do exactly that, with a separate spot for each. If you only need the phone, a single magnetic stand is cheaper and takes up less of the table. Everything else in this corner of the shop is in Gadgets & Tech.
