Why a portable monitor needs a proper bracket

Portable monitors are built light, which is the point, and it makes them tip at the slightest nudge. A weighted, damped bracket holds the screen still at the angle you set, and keeps it there rather than drooping over an afternoon. The rotating base means you can turn the second screen towards someone else or spin it upright, and the arm adjusts both ways so the screen lines up with your main monitor instead of sitting lower than it.
