Why the lens matters on a sunset light

Cheaper sunset lights just flood a wall with orange. The crystal lens here grades the colour from a bright centre to a soft edge, which is what makes it read as an actual sunset rather than a coloured bulb. It is also why it photographs so well, on the wall behind you or on your face for a selfie. And it is light enough to carry from the bedroom to wherever you are filming.

Common Questions

Where should I point it? A plain pale wall gives the cleanest halo. Move it closer for a small, intense sun and further back for a bigger, softer one. The ceiling works too if you want the glow above the bed.

Is it good for photos and videos? That is where it really shines. Selfies, TikToks and a warm background for a live stream.

Can it do other colours? This one does the sunset and only the sunset, and it does it properly. If you want other colours, music sync and a remote, the smart sunset lamp is the step up.

Does it come with a plug? It is USB powered, so a phone charger plug, a laptop or a power bank runs it.
