Why a cable sleeve fixes what a tray cannot

A tray deals with the pile of cable under the desk. It does nothing for the stretch that runs across the floor to the socket, or up the wall to a TV, which is usually the bit people actually look at. Grouping that run inside one cover makes it read as a single deliberate line rather than four wires going the same way by accident. Match the colour to the wall and it more or less vanishes.
