Under Desk Cable Tray | Extendable Steel Cord Organiser

An under desk cable tray that takes the plug strip, the chargers and the great knot of wires hanging under your desk and puts them somewhere you never have to look at again. Steel rather than flimsy plastic, and it extends, so it grows to fit the width you actually need instead of the width someone guessed at.

What you get

• Steel tray with a plastic frame, sturdy enough for a loaded plug strip
• Extendable length, so it adapts to your desk rather than the other way round
• Two sizes and two colours: black or white, large or small
• Open basket design so heat escapes and you can still reach a plug
• Mounts out of sight under the desktop

Why a cable tidy changes how a desk feels

You clean the top of a desk and it looks better for about a day. Deal with what is underneath and it looks better permanently, because the mess was never really on the surface. Getting the plug strip off the floor also means you can hoover without a fight, the cables stop collecting dust, and nothing gets yanked out when you shuffle your chair. It is the least glamorous upgrade on this whole site and quietly one of the most satisfying.

Common Questions

Will it fit my desk? It extends, which covers most standard desks comfortably. Measure the clear run under your desktop first and pick large or small from there. If you have judged it wrong, returns are free for 30 days.

Will it hold a full plug strip? Yes, that is exactly what it is built for. Steel construction means it takes the weight of a loaded strip plus adapters without sagging.

Can I still get to my plugs? Yes. The open basket design leaves everything reachable, so you can unplug something without dismantling the whole thing. It also lets heat out, which matters with chargers.

Does it work on a standing desk? It does, and it is arguably more useful there, since everything travels with the desktop instead of dangling as it rises.

What else tidies up a desk? The felt desk mat sorts the surface and the push lid desk bin handles everything else. Between the three, a tired desk looks new.
