Cat Claw Desk Mat | Large Washable Gaming Design

A desk mat with a cat paw reaching across it, in the sort of size that covers the keyboard as well as the mouse. Two designs, six sizes, and it washes rather than stains.

What you get

• Two designs, Floating Claw and Cat Claw
• Six sizes, from 60 by 30cm up to 90 by 40cm
• 2mm thick woven top on a natural rubber base
• Stitched edge on all four sides
• Washable, so a spilled drink is not the end of it

A mouse pad you can actually clean

Most large pads are fabric, and fabric near a desk means crumbs, coffee rings and the grey patch where your wrist lives. This one takes a hand wash and comes back, because the print is dye sublimated into the cloth rather than sitting on top of it, so it does not lift or fade when it gets wet. That is the difference between a mat that lasts a year and one that looks tired by March.

Common Questions

How do I wash it? Cold water, a little soap, rub the marked bit with your hand and rinse. Then dry it flat, not on a radiator, because heat is what separates the cloth from the rubber.

Which size for a keyboard and mouse? 80 by 40cm is the usual answer. 60 by 30cm suits a mouse alone, and 90 by 40cm covers most of a standard desk.

Is it thick enough to be comfortable? At 2mm it is a flat, fast mat rather than a padded one, so your keyboard stays at the height it was designed for and the mouse glides quickly. If you want something soft under the wrist, the 4mm cotton and linen mat is twice the thickness.

Will the edge fray? The edge is stitched rather than cut, which is the part that usually goes first on a cheap pad.

Is there a matching one? There are two more cat designs, the black cat mat and the purple cat mat, and everything else is in Desk Mats and Mouse Pads.
