An E27 desk lamp on a wooden base, built around a standard bulb fitting instead of a sealed LED panel. That one decision is the whole point of it: when the light dies, or when you decide you want it warmer, brighter or dimmable, you change a bulb for a few pounds rather than binning the lamp. A 9W bulb comes in the box to start you off.

Why a swappable bulb outlasts a sealed table lamp

Most cheap lamps have the LEDs soldered in. When those fail, and they do, the whole lamp is rubbish. This one uses the same bulb fitting as a ceiling light, so it will still be working in five years for the cost of the occasional bulb. It also means you control the light rather than the manufacturer: fit a 2700K bulb for a warm bedroom, a 5000K one for a desk you actually work at, or a smart bulb if you want it on a schedule. At up to 2000 lumens with the right bulb, this is genuinely bright enough to read and work under.
