This LED motion sensor light comes on when it detects movement and switches itself off again once you have gone, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to leave on. It sticks up magnetically or with adhesive, charges over USB, and comes in four lengths from 20cm to 50cm.

Inside a wardrobe that has no light of its own, along a hallway on the way to the bathroom, under a kitchen cabinet while you are carrying something, or on the stairs. The no drilling part matters if you are renting, because the whole thing comes down and leaves nothing behind.

Common Questions

How bright is it? Under 60 lumens, which is deliberate. It is orientation lighting, so you can see where you are going at 2am without being properly woken up. If you want something to work under, the under cabinet light is the brighter option.

How long does it stay on? It switches off 15 to 30 seconds after the last movement, which is what makes the battery last.

Will it stick inside a wardrobe? Yes, magnetically on metal or with the adhesive backing on wood and painted surfaces.

Which length should I get? 20cm for a wardrobe or a shelf, 30 to 40cm for under a cabinet, 50cm for a hallway or a run of worktop.

Does it need wiring? No. It charges over USB and runs off its own battery, so there is no cable and no electrician.
