Motion Sensor Cupboard Light | Rechargeable Type C LED Bar

This motion sensor cupboard light comes on by itself when you reach in, so the back of the cupboard stops being a mystery. It charges over Type C, sticks up with the adhesive pad on the back and no wiring, and comes in four lengths from a 10cm bar for a small cupboard to 50cm for a long shelf.

Why a cabinet light needs a night mode

The clever bit is the choice of sensing modes. Set it to night only and it ignores you during the day, when the kitchen is already bright, and only wakes up once it gets dark. Set it to 24 hours for a cupboard with no window, where it is dark whatever the time. Either way the battery only gets used when you actually need the light, which is the whole point of having a sensor.

Common Questions

How does it fix in place? With the adhesive pad on the back. That means it goes onto wood, melamine or a painted surface as well as metal, so you are not limited to a steel cupboard. Pick a clean, smooth, dry spot and press it on firmly.

Do I have to peel it off to charge it? No. The bar comes away from its mount, so you take the light down to charge it over Type C and click it back when it is done. The pad stays where you put it.

How do I switch between modes? One press turns it on, two presses sets night only sensing, three sets 24 hour sensing and four turns it off.

Which length should I get? 10cm for a bathroom cabinet, 20 to 30cm for a standard kitchen cupboard, and 50cm for a wardrobe or a long shelf.

Can I work under it? It is made to light up the inside of a cupboard or wardrobe, and that is exactly what it is good at. For proper task light over a worktop, the dimmable under cabinet light is the brighter option.

Does it come with a plug? It charges from the Type C cable in the box, so any phone charger plug will do.
