Why globe string lights suit a garden and a bedroom

Ball bulbs spread their light all the way round, so each one glows like a tiny lantern instead of a sharp point. That is what makes them work outside on a pergola or a garden tree, and inside along a headboard or a mantelpiece. Picking USB or battery means you get the right one for where it is going: USB near a socket or a power bank, battery for the far end of the garden.

Common Questions

USB or battery? USB for indoors near a plug, a laptop or a power bank. Battery for trees, fences and party tables where no plug will reach.

Can they go outside? Yes, the bulbs are sealed in waterproof PVC, so rain on a pergola or a fence is fine.

Do batteries come with the battery version? Pick up AAA batteries alongside, as they are not in the box. The USB version runs from any phone charger plug.

Which length should I get? 1.5m round a mirror, 3m to 6m along a mantelpiece or headboard, and 10m to 12m across a fence or up a tree.

What goes with them? The solar lantern adds a warm glow at ground level, and the LED curtain lights cover a whole wall. More in LED strip and fairy lights.
