Why separate slots beat one big desk tidy

A single pot is quick but everything leans into everything else, and finding the one pencil you want means pulling out four. Individual slots keep each thing upright and visible, which is the difference between storage and a container. Going for the ten compartment version is worth it if you use coloured pens or brushes, because that is where the sorting actually saves you time. Will my phone fit in the slot with a case on? A standard case, yes. A thick rugged case or a wallet case may be too deep, and returns are free for 30 days if it is not right.

What is the difference between natural wood and walnut? Natural is the pale honey tone, walnut is the darker brown. Both are real timber and both show grain, so the shade varies slightly piece to piece.

Does it charge the phone? It holds the phone, it does not charge it, so your cable still comes up onto the desk. If you would rather have charging built in, a wireless charger is the thing for that.

Is 10 compartments much bigger on the desk? Yes, noticeably wider. Measure the space before you pick it, because the four compartment one is the sensible choice on a small desk.
